What's in the zip
- ios/AppIcon.appiconset: one 1024 × 1024 icon and its Contents.json, the way Xcode 14+ sets up new projects. Drag the folder into Assets.xcassets.
- ios/AppIcon-all-sizes.appiconset: all 18 iPhone, iPad and App Store sizes with a matching Contents.json.
- android/res: ic_launcher and ic_launcher_round in 5 densities (48, 72, 96, 144, 192 px), an adaptive icon foreground at 108 dp and the XML that pairs it with your background colour. Copy the folders into app/src/main/res.
- play-store/icon-512.png: the 512 × 512 icon for your Google Play listing.
- expo: icon.png and adaptive-icon.png, plus the app.json lines that use them.
Tips for an icon that works small
Your icon shows at 1024 px on the store page but at about 40 px in search results and on home screens. Use one bold shape, few colours and no small text. Leave a margin around the main shape: Android launchers cut adaptive icons into circles, squircles or rounded squares, and only the middle 67% is always visible.
Need the numbers instead? The app icon size guide lists every size with what it's used for.
