How it works

Three steps, about a minute

  1. Add your text

Name, subtitle or short description, developer and description.

  2. Add an icon and screenshots

    They stay on your device.

  3. Check what's cut off

See where the store truncates your name and description.

What you get

  • Listing and search result

The full page and the compact row people see in search.

  • Truncation like the store

The description folds after three lines, behind "more".

  • Both stores

Switch between a Google Play and an App Store style layout.

The guide

What to look for

  • The first screen: icon, name and the first two or three screenshots are all most people see. Do they say what the app does?
  • Cut-off text: check your name and subtitle in the search result, where there's the least room.
  • The first lines of the description: only about three lines show before "more".

Next steps

Count every field with the character counter, and get your screenshots to the right size with the screenshot resizer.

Questions

Short answers about the store listing preview and the store rules behind it.

Does this look exactly like the App Store or Google Play?

It's a simplified mockup, not a copy of either store. It shows the parts that matter most for a first impression: where your name gets cut off, how your icon and first screenshots read together, and how much of the description shows before "more".

Why is my app name cut off?

Store pages show long names on two lines at most, and search results usually on one. Put the words that describe your app near the start so they stay visible.

Are my icon and screenshots uploaded?

No. The preview uses the files straight from your device, inside your browser, and nothing is saved when you leave the page.
