How keyword density is counted
Density is how many times a word or phrase appears, divided by the total number of words, as a percentage. A 300-word description that says "sudoku" 9 times has a sudoku density of 3%. Two- and three-word phrases are counted the same way and listed only when they appear more than once.
Using the results
- On Google Play, the description is indexed. Make sure your main keywords appear, especially in the first lines, but say them in sentences people would write.
- Words marked "Overused" make up more than 3% of the text. Swap some for synonyms or cut the sentence.
- Tracked keywords show which field each one is in. A keyword missing from the title and short description carries much less weight.
