Two scores, read together
Difficulty without popularity is only half the picture. A keyword is worth targeting when people search it and the top results aren't all built around it.
- Difficulty (0–100): how many of the top 10 already use the phrase in their name. Low is good.
- Popularity (0–100): how early and how high the store suggests the phrase as it's typed. High is good.
What to do with the result
- Good target: put it in your title or subtitle, then follow it with the rank checker.
- Competitive: add a word that narrows it (“habit tracker for kids”) and score that instead.
- Niche: use it in the iOS keyword field or your description, where it costs little space.
Scores are estimates from public search results. Store search changes daily, so re-check a keyword before a big listing update.
