What the checker looks for
- Other platforms: Android or Google Play in an App Store listing, iPhone or iOS in a Google Play listing.
- Claims in the name: "free", "best", "#1", "new" or "sale" in titles and short texts.
- Other companies' brands, for example Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat. Use them only with permission.
- Unfinished text: lorem ipsum, TODO, TBD and bracketed placeholders.
- Rating incentives: rewards for reviews or asking for five stars.
- Spam signals: emoji, web addresses and all caps in titles, keyword lists and heavy repetition.
- Pre-release wording such as beta, demo or test version.
How to read the results
High-risk findings are the ones reviewers reject most often; fix them before you submit. Medium and low findings depend on context, such as a brand you have permission to use. The checker matches words and patterns, so it can flag something that's fine in your case. It isn't legal advice and doesn't replace reading each store's current policies.
